Will PSA do a crossover with a PSA card?

If I have a PSA card with an old flip and want a new flip, can I just send it in as a crossover from for example a PSA 6 to a PSA 6? If they don't do this wouldn't they be admitting they overgraded the card the first time? Then could I get a buyback?

    What you want is the reholder service. They will replace the holder and they're supposed to verify the grade and adjust it if necessary.

    So they reholder it AND give it a new flip?

    If all you want is the new flip, just use the REHOLDER service. I have used it before when i wanted the new labels also. They will use all the same info on the existing flip (cert #s, grade, etc), just with the new, or current design, and in a new slab.
