IMO, a PSA flip error should carry no premium at all. Except where the flip had an erroneous T206 Wagner on it! That is rare and cool!

I wouldn't want a card with the wrong flip... it should be corrected before it's sold. There is nothing significant about a labeling error, and you theoretically don't know the true grade of that card. Being that it's a 1978 common in a PSA 8, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference, but still...

No value whatsoever. Actually, it has less value, since you probably would want to send it back to PSA to fix their labelling error.

  • I actually sent in two solters cards (different numbers) from the 38 goudey set and they put them in the opposite cases. At the chicago show I talked to them and when its a mechanical error they will recase it AND send it back to you FREE. If you can'tdrop it off in person or at a show then you will be out shipping to them though. Just write "mechanical error" on the submission form and they take care of the rest.

Unless it's robots placiing the cards ih slabs, why do they call it "mechanical error"? Seems a human mistake must have happened somewhere in the process.
  • Send it back for correction. It should be on their dime.
