Well, it's copper-nickel, so it's really shiny nickel

Thanks for the compliments, folks, but I still can't get the pic of the six pence as good as Wybrit's original

... but I'm workin' on it

I must admit that I thought about it, as many countries switched their copper coins to other, more available metals during that pre-war time, but it was too late to edit.
