Would automated sniping have helped?

I was watching quite intently an auction that just ended much lower than my max bid would've been, though I don't know if I'd've won it. With 29 seconds left I was unable to refresh the page and couldn't bid. It came back on about 10 seconds after the auction ended. It wasn't my connection, either. I've never used any of the snipe programs before, but do you know if they work so that they will bypass an ebay hangup?

  • Agree, I use JustSnipt...set it and forget it. No need to hang around. A side benefit is I can change my Max bid if I have second thoughts.Text

  • Sniping is the way to go. I use Esnipe and love it. It costs you for each winning bid, but you make up for it with the lower prices that you pay in the end. The average price I have been paying on cards that I want has went down since I started using it. It would have definitely helped in your situation.
