They finally got done giving Clackamas' coins the evil eye 100 times to see if they really did grade as high as they did!
He had some very SWEET coins in there for 3 months that just posted.

Before turnaround times started dropping I had one modern come back in short order ... in on 01/31 ... grades on 02/28 ... wonder what will happen with the modern submissions I have in now.

though the times are faster there still appears to be no rhyme-or-reason as to when a submission is graded in relation to when it is received. we still need the suggested Butcher Shop "please take a number" System to be instituted.

I think the system is first in but not first out. In other words, you sub goes in
at the order received, but if you have a large # of coins or some require extra
review it will slow down the whole sub. It would be cool if they could put up
results as they happen and not wait for the whole sub to finish.

Why are the times getting shorter? They have more graders, they
have raised prices, they are tighter. I still see huge demand for their product.
I just sold some MS64 common date Peace$s on ebay - got $65+ each for them.
Same coin, raw, wouldn't sell for more than $25.

I suspect the higher rates, plus a lot of accelerated submissions before the rate increase, may have a lot to do with it.

My most recent Economy submission (grades posted 3/11/05) took just 11 calendar days!

On the other hand, I'm still waiting for the Regular ($30 each) submission I gave them the same time I did the Economy batch.
