For the Heritage Crowd - A Tribute to the SP's! They can break your heart!

Heritage SP Card Blues

With stacks o’ packs and buckets o’ gum
Ran outta money, was a tidy sum.
Been working all night, that ain’t no sport
I can’t believe…still 30 cards short!

I demand a recount! With a loud retort,
I can’t believe, now 40 cards short!
My wife’s pissed off… must be bad news,
40 cards short, Got SP card blues.

Runnin’ round like a madman,
I’m on the attack.
Eyes trained on 2 retails and
A box of loose packs.
forgot my wallet…no cash…bad news,
40 cards short…got SP card blues.

I’m bent on finishin,’ I can’t be denied
Attention board members, come To my side.
If we trade our SP’s, I know we can’t lose,
40 cards short…got SP card blues…
40 cards short…got SP card blues

    Kevin,

I was able to pick up my last short print that I needed on eBay last night. For the cost of one pack, someone got this Helton from the same seller (who had lots of SPs available).
If you needed Helton, here was one (with shipping, it was the cost of one pack).

    Helton SP
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Thanks all for the help. Actually I did pull a Helton about 6 boxes into it this year, but last year I had to of opened 30 boxes and
pulled no helton purple hat! Thats amazing if you think about it.

Of corse I haven't pulled another Helton this year, but one is enough for set builders

    Thanks

Last year Kevin got killed by Helton and this year he's kicking my ass! I've yet to pull one!

I won't start crying for help until I'm done buying! image

What's with the NAP's this year - BTW - great poems!!! I'm having trouble coming up with certain numbers!!!

Ahhh....that's what makes this such a challenge...I'm sending out 100 cards for random replacement - we'll see what they give me!

Also, this year's booster boxes just don't compare to last years! I had a feeling we wouldn't get lucky again!

    Hi Guys-
I need about 30 or so shortprints to finish. Does anyone have any extras for sale? If so, would you mind sending me an email at Shaneleo@aol.com. I could really use the help.

Every year it seems like the NAP's elude me...its actually the last three in the set that are always hard to pull! I remember the Delgado
a few years back...I had like 4 of each of the other and NO Delgado. Every guy I would trade with needed that card and a few of the
same cards in the high #'s. If I was really a geek, I could research this and Im sure I would come up with some short printed short
    prints.

I managed to nail NAP 14 but need 13 and 15...funny they are both common cards too

I will stick with the idea that the cards are not "randomly" even and may fall into unbalanced cases which get sent around the country such that the cards become regionally loaded.

It's hard to believe otherwise - all the commons you wanted from me? I had 4-6 or each!!!
