You guys opinion on the grades of these Texas Commeratives

Hello,

WOW!! What a nice welcome to the boards!! Everyone is very kind. Thank you. I was afraid no one would reply. I recently purchased these Texas Centennial Half Dollars and they were raw. I am thinking about submitting to PCGS. Let me know your honest opinion on the grades. This will help me on my coin grading skills. I also collect Morgans, Standing Liberty Quarters, Pre-1965 Quarters, Kennedy and Liberty Half Dollars, Peace Dollars, lots and lots of Mexican Silver and silver certificates just to name a few. Anyways, I plan to post many messages and pics as my mind is wide open to knowledge and the wisdom you can provide. Well enough of my talk. Here are the pics!!!

PS How can I make my other 1937 Texas Commerative reduce down to 50K. Right now they are at 57k and 67k???

  • Nice looking coins! Perhaps those are images of the same coin? It does look like there is a bit of a rub on the Eagle's breast... The quick answer on the image size question is "crop and compress". The long answer depends on what software you are using to manipulate your images.

    Hello!

Your coin looks AU55 to MS62 based on those pictures.

    Here's a NGC MS64, if that helps
