1972-P- TYPE # 2, GRADES ARE IN.......

I just got my grades back from PCGS on the last four ( 4 ) Type # 2
Ikes, they are :
1972-P- TYPE # 2 : MS64
1972-P-TYPE # 2 : MS64
1972-P- TYPE # 2 : MS63
1972-P-TYPE # 2 : MS62
I was a bit disappointed, because one of the MS64 coins had a very good chance of being a MS65. Maybe next time. On the other hand, I paid $ 30.00 bucks each for both MS 64 coins from a local shop, and $ 50.00 each at a coin show for the other two.

<< <i>Hell, I wish I could even find a damned Type 2. I'm beginning to think they don't exist in this area.

A good source of type 2, and high grade Ikes are dansco sets that offered at shows by dealers. Many times dealers will take a complete set in on trade. most collectors take great pains to select the best looking coins when putting a set together. They don't realize how much Ikes have gone up in price, and how difficult it is to now find gem examples. Recently I purchased a set this way, and had 3 Ms66 coins come back from PCGS !!
Also the type # 2 graded out MS 63 !!!
I'll take em all if you are selling, and turn you a nice profit!
