PCI Blue slabs for World coins

How many of you have seen the blue border PCI SLAB for World Coins with the what appears to be a serial number on back five digits-five digits- two digits for a total of twelve. then, the second five digits followed by the same two digits are repeated about a third of the way down on the back... example 13259-61599-09 and then about a third of the way down 61599-09 is repeated. Any idea when these were done? Any thoughts?

Those were done in the old red-label/green-label era. I have not seen many and have never personally owned one, but I have seen a few around.

I am merely guessing that they are in the 1996-97 time frame, but the thre I have do not have the bar code thing that one of my US green edged one has nor is the font as bold. The other difference is the grade on the World Blue edge is in the upper right hand corner and not in the center. Interesting...

They were a short time issue in the late 1991 - maybe early 93. After PCI bought out the HALLMARK supplies and equipment in mid 1991, they started producing the green, red, and blue labeled slabs. But the blue labels were not used for a very long before they simply dropped them and began slabbing world coins in the red and green holders as well. The signature series slabs then came along but they were dropped very quickly.
