Picked up at the Vegas show

Here's a couple of new ones I picked up at the recent Vegas show -

1791 Netherlands ducaton -

An 1809 Mexico 8 reales - this is the only example of this type of coin I have ever seen with Proof like surfaces. The fields are actually reflective. There is some rub on the high points of the bust which keep this from grading UNC, but even so it is the nicest example I have ever personally seen.

    I got a helluva nice 1805 Mexico City 8R, blast white, in an ANACS AU50 slab, which looks even better than the grade would indicate. It ain't prooflike, though.

    That ducaton rocks! Was it expensive?

    Are those in slabs or AirTites?

    Air-Tites - the 8 reale is weakly struck on the one edge, but the rest of the coin was so outrageous that when I first glanced at it I thought it was a replica - it's not though. The ducaton is UNC, even the finest detail is there. But it has apparently been dipped as luster is simply not there. The seller obvioulsy knew this as I got it for a song image
