Here's a new coin that I picked up today at a local coin shop that I felt had high eye appeal for the designated grade. I am especially pleased with the strong strike, moderate cameo contrast and also the depth of the PL (nearly DMPL) mirrors. Especially for this date which is typically weakly struck, has little to no contrast between devices and fields, and which is tough to find with deeply reflective mirrored fields.
Note the 5 degree clockwise rotated reverse, and the very delicate and pretty frosty halo on the reverse surrounding the eagle, which is very siliar to what I've observed on many Carson City PL/DMPL Morgan Dollars.
The following photo unfortunately does not do a great job of capturing the depth of the mirrored fields. What do you think of her??
