I know that the market is knee-deep in #31 Johnny Bench PSA 10's, which can be had for a few bucks. The PSA 9's don't sell at all. I've seen dirt-cheap PSA 10's of many other stars on eBay. They're a hard sell for some reason. I guess just too plentiful and not enough people want 'em.

The Superstars subset, however, seems much scarcer. Only a handful of #29 Superstars Bench have been graded, for example.

The set re-appeared for sale in the early 90's through a Florida shop. They were advertised as containing the 'Noland Ryan' (note spelling) error card and sold for about $100. Upon examination with sets bought before 1990 it can be seen that the lettering on the cards was in a bolder black ink. This led to speculation that the newer sets were somehow re-printed as to contain the Ryan variation card.
