now this is stupid: Economy grades in 11 days (and a CC Morgan in Poor-01!!!!!)

Just back from a business trip and checked my e-mail. Surprises all around. The 11 calendar day elapsed time makes no sense whatsoever. A group of eight Regular ($30 each) crossovers I submitted the same day aren't done yet. The 1893-CC just isn't an 01 in my book. As for the Peace dollar... hello Pat!

bought raw off eBay as an AG-03; expected Fair-02

bought raw as just a hunk O' silver

5 21921567 1916-D 10C USA FR02 image
bought raw with the priviso that it would grade anything at PCGS; expected Fair-02 (a nice one at that!)

When in doubt, don't.

    This is one of the few times when we're glad a seller overgrades his stuff.

    Peace dollars with MintMarks are next to impossible in PCGS PO01. They're either not worn enough to warrant the grade or the wear obscures the MM and thus a "No Grade".
