What a difference a day makes - Baltimore

Well if yesterday was snooze day at Baltimore things seemed a bit more lively today (Friday). A good but not record crowd, IMO. There was a decent amount of new material including early copper, Flying Eagle and IH cents, Two Cent pieces, and a lot of nice Barber silver in all three denominations. It seemed like the dealers were bringing out a little more high-end material. Several dealers I talked to said today was "not bad" or "OK", or “busy” so I guess it was an average Baltimore show, not too crowded, but still exciting. I found a number of really nice Two Cent pieces and some nice Flying Eagle cents that I hadn't seen before. I have to thank Michael Dixon for the one below since he located it for me.

I was at the show today also. Lot of beautiful rainbow toned Morgans. Got my copy of the 2005 Rebook and met David Bowers who was signing them. Talked to him briefly. Really nice guy. ust looked and didn't buy anything. It was my first coin show since I started collecting a year ago. Was there about 4 years ago but I wasn't a collector back then so didnt really appreciate the show as much as I did this year.
