Why have images when you cant see any detail??

It is a proven fact that auctions that have great pictures of coins sell for more. Then why does Hertage put up an image like this one? I can't see any detail! Does anyone else? Can someone from Hertage explain this?

In regards to the first link.

Some excellent corrosion on that baby. Right in front of the E in Liberty. Don't need to zoom much to see it either.

Have you tried using the "lighten these images" option? Try level 2 , it helps a ton.

Their pics are always quite dark.

Use the lighten feature and they zoom in. You can see everything you need to see.

All the times I've seen their auctions and I never noticed that feature! I guess I'm always too focused on the coin. Thanks!

My theory is: if you have to manipulate the image of the coin to get a decent look at it, it wasn't done properly the first time.

Why have images when you cant see any detail??
