World famous John Basilone......

Directly from the newest Beckett newsletter comes the world famous Topps Heritage authority:

"There seems to be a lot of new insights to 2005 Topps Heritage which is based on the 1956 Topps design. John Basilone had opened a lot of it, several cases in fact. He sent us information that is far too extensive to list in this column but we’ll detail some of it.....however, John just had far too much time on his hands, so we’ll leave it at that. Thanks John and we’ll be in touch."

I thought it was pretty cool, congrats John!

  • That's too cool. I can't wait until the Topps Heritage 2006 John Basilone commemorative card comes out. He's a very cool person that emailed me the extensive excel spreadsheet on Heritage to me.

Where can I get John Basilone's 2005 Topps Heritage card? Is it an SP? Is there a chrome of it? Is there a card with a piece of torn pack?

John has done great work and its nice he was mentioned for it. I think its funny that the bulk of information about heritage is coming
from the message boards of its competitor! They would never mention that, even though John does frequent the beckett boards it
was here that all the information was gathered.

Its been fun being in the middle of it and being reunited with guys I have traded with in the past. There is already talk a about the
2006 set....but we have much work to do, lets keep the rips and trades going.
