Teletrade auction help needed...

p8ntp8nt Posts: 2,947 ✭✭✭
Im looking into bidding on some Teletrade auctions coming up. However, I am a bit confused and am asking for some clarification. Lets say (for demostration) that I found 2 SHQ's that I bid on with a max bid of 6.00 and won both of the auctions for 6 each. So I owe the buyer's fee, the coin price, and shipping and handling correct? That works out to 12.00 for the coins, 10.00 for the buyer's fee (5.00 minimum for each lot) and 3.75 for the first coin and .25 for the second on shipping. That works out to 26.00 total. I think I have it down but if some of you have dealt with Teletrade and know how it works please let me know if its not too much trouble, any advice as well as corrections are welcome.

image Just won two coins on Teletrade Wednesday. You'll have a 10% "Buyer's Fee" and I paid $10.25 for shipping. The two coins were $360 before fee's. Lee
  • You got it right. Just remember that the S/H go up per the final bid, presumably to cover insurance. Also try to keep in mind the buyer premium goes to 10% after $50. It's easy to overlook, especially when you are bidding on a monster. I guess sometimes when I get emotional about a coin it makes bid stupid image but from some of the auctions I've observed I am in good company!
