1981 Topps Baseball Cello Box Bust

Just finished busting a cello box. I'm sending the Ryan and Raines rookie in to be graded. Any guesses as what they might get?

All the others are available DIRT CHEAP if anybody is looking for 81's.

Great centering! How do the surface and corners look up close?

  • Assuming the corners and gloss are sharp,Im betting they are both a minimum of 9s with chances of 10s. That is one real nice 81 Ryan!!!!
    Congrats
  • Maybe it is the scan, but the Ryan may have a slight diamond cut to it that pulls it down from a 10.

  • Softparade - Surface is perfect on both. Raines has ths slightest "touching" on the bottom left corner. It took 10x magnification to notice it.

easttexas - I agree on the slight diamond cut. This box was atleast 80% diamond cut. The Rose, Brett , Henderson and Yaz all had diamond cuts and were 70/30 at best. I would like to submit them but I believe 8 is the best I could hope for.

If anybody would like scans of any cards just let me know - Like I said they can be had DIRT CHEAP.
