Don't Smoke when packing your cards....

I am collecting a PSA graded 72 Topps set. One of my EBAY auction wins was a few weeks over due. I was about to email the seller when the card finally arrived.

I did notice that the padded envelope had been tampered with at some point. The envelope was opened and then retaped. It wasn't until I opened the envelpoe that i realized what was up:

The strong smell of "ganja" waifed from the envelope. Obviously the envelope had been searched by customs at some point.


Frank Robinson survived intact and claimed he did not inhale!!

Now seeking 1949 Eureka Sportstamps...NM condition

    Actually there are three sellers I've dealt with that make me think they exhale their smoke into my package before they seal it. Since I pick up my packages at the post office, I usually open them inside my car and the smell hits you like a sledgehammer!image

    I don't mind the scent of good weed (no - I have never inhaled - only sniffed it second hand). I once received a package that had cigarette ashes plastered all over the toploader and inside the bubble mailer. It was like I bought an ashtray envelope with a card stuffed in it. That was bad karma.
    Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

    i'd be pissed to receive cigarette ashes.. but anybody can feel free to send some good buds my way.. =) ya just have to put alot of spearmint chewing gum in the package to throw off the smell.. =)
