My P & D set of New Buffs arrived today.
When I opened the box like everyone else the rolls wer heads on each end.
I opened each roll and found them to be in typical shape for mint rolls. Mostly MS 62-64 coins.
I pulled 3 out 1 P and 2 D's to send in hoping for a 65-66 pair.
The obverse takes a little to get use to and as mentioned by others the open space takes a lot of hits and will be tough in 66 or better grade.
Of course I only opened 1 box and my sampling is low.
Now for the giveaway. I purchased some snap locks from Brent-Krueger and have 5 I will giveaway.
The first to answer one of these 5 questions correctly wins 1 snap lock with a P and D Buff.
All the questions pertain to who else but Thomas Jefferson.
#1 What was TJ's birthdate including year.
#2 What day did he die on including year.
#2 What years did he serve as our 3rd President.
#4 How old was TJ when he wrote the Declaration of Independence.
#5 What was his wife's full name.
Good Luck all and when all questions are answeres correctly I will post winners.
1 more thing you can only win 1 snap lock. There will be 5 different winners.
Rookie Joe.

Jefferson's "original Rough draught" of the Declaration of Independence, written in June 1776, including all the changes made later by John Adams, Benjamin Franklin and other members of the committee, and by Congress
The "original Rough draught" of the Declaration of Independence, one of the great milestones in American history, shows the evolution of the text from the initial composition draft by Jefferson to the final text adopted by Congress on the morning of July 4, 1776. Jefferson himself indicated some of the alterations made by Adams and Franklin.
Late in life Jefferson endorsed this document: "Independance. Declaration of original Rough draught."

I haven't heard from stimmy.
Anyone know who this is?
P.S. John Adams' last words were "Thomas Jefferson still lives." He was wrong by a few hours.
One of the benefits of collecting learning the history of USA.
Thanks,
Joe
