Except for a couple of minor nicks, they would easily have graded MS67 or better. Very strong strike.

They looked pretty good for circulating coins. Probably just came out of a wrapped roll.
Gave them to my 10 year old for her piggy bank
She has all sorts of neat change in it. I recently gave her $10 face worth of 1936-38 Buffalo Nickels to put in it.
Ditto!
I have been looking for the CA quarter to fill my boy's quarter book for a few weeks. I have made a few trips to the bank with no success. We even made trips to a local coin shop twice with no luck. He was visibly disapointed (for a 4 yr old) as he really likes the State quarters.
Last Friday, we went into the local Pizza shop (Called First Class Pizza) in Newport Coast CA and as I gazed down in the "tip" bowl, I noticed four extra shining quarters, and with a better look, I noticed they were the CA quarters.
I exchanged a dollar bill for the four quarters, and the smile and excitement on my child's face was a moment, captured in time- to always be remembered.
We took our "treasure find" home and picked out the best one for the book, and stashed the other three in his "cash box" under lock and key.
Wow, what a day indeed!

Funny, I got two very pretty ones (one with no visible marks w/o mag) in change from the Starbucks on the third floor of the Baltimore Convention Center, where I was completely lost looking for the coin show. I wrapped them up carefully in napkins, put them in my pocket, then completely forgot about them once I found the show--never mentioned it to anyone! I don't even remember if anyone had them at the show--I'm sure a couple of people did.

"circulated" set of states issues is all unc. Usually I'll get at least three or four of each
issue in unc and may see hundreds of the P mints.
