    The medal is catalogued in British Historical Medals 1760-1960 Vol. 3 by Laurence Brown as BHM4267 issued in Silver and Silvered Bronze the rarity is listed as N (Normal) on a scale of RRRR, RRR, RR, R, N, C and CC.

    Brown does not list the issuer but does indicate that the medal was issued in a purple leather case lined with purple velvet and white silk.
