Last week I post a thread in the US Coin Forum about selling on the BST since I would like to dispose of many coins that I have accumulated since I began collecting when I was a wee lad of 7 years (I collected from age 7-22, took a break from 23-42 caught the bug again almost 7 years ago). I received lots of helpful responses to my post.
I figured I would begin my attempt to sell off accumulated coins on the BST with a single lot of raw circulated flying eagle and indian head cents that I accumulated from change and from dealer junk boxes as a kid and from a lot of coins I acquired in trade a few years ago. Except for an 1858 flying eagle, and 1860 indian and a 1909-S indian the coins are nothing special and would be fun for a kid to look through and fill holes in an ablum with.
I have went through my stash and have a single 1858 flying eagle cent (good) and 70 indian head cents (ranging from fair to very fine, with most being in good to very good condition). The dates for the indian head cents 1860 (1), 1879 (1), 1881 (1), 1886 (1), 1887 (2), 1889 (1), 1890 (1), 1891 (3), 1892 (1), 1893 (1), 1896 (1), 1897 (4), 1898 (6), 1899 (2), 1900 (5), 1901 (9), 1902 (4), 1903 (13), 1904 (4), 1905 (6), 1907 (2) and 1909 S (1).
The 1909-S is damaged. The top of the obverse/bottom of the reverse of the coin has been pinched/bent. resulting in the S mintmark being distorted.
I am asking $15.00 for the 1858 flying eagle, $3.00 for the 1860, $90.00 for the damaged 1909-S and $51.00 ($.75 each) for the remaining 68 coins. I will cover the cost of shipping to you.
If anyone is interested, please PM me to discuss further.
Next on my BST efforts will be circulated wheatback Lincolns and uncirculated wheatback Lincolns.
