Morgan dollar with partial die fill

I mentioned in another thread that I picked up a few coins at the Parsippany NJ show on Sunday. Two of the coins are 1887-P VAM-12 "Alligator Eye". One is raw (~MS60/62), the other is in an ANACS slab labeled "MS 64 VAM-12 DDO TOP 100". I was just checking them both out under a microscope. The slabbed coin looks to have a partially filled die. The reverse motto has four letters low to the field.... the OD in GOD and WE. All of the other letters are fine.

I know the premium is for completely filled dies. The O is almost flush, but the other letters are a little higher. I'm interested in how common this is... single and multiple letters... partially filled and completely filled. I have a 21-P with a partially filled E in WE, but have never seen any others. Have never seen four letters partially filled. Closest I've seen is the photos for the 21-D's - JOH-17 and VAM-11A.
