Question on toning on an 1811 bust half

I saw this nice looking 1811 bust half at my local coin store that looks bu. It has a very light silver/blue toning over the whole coin and it is a consistant toning that is not darker on any part of the coin. Does anyone know if this is a common color/toning for this type of coin?

Impossible to say really without a picture. The toning exhibited on any particular coin is a combination of how it was stored, whether it has ever been cleaned in the past, the environment its been living in, and the type of coin (copper, silver, gold, etc.). Not much help I know. Sorry. image

Get a return policy for it or offer to buy it cert and pay for the cert and nominal bonus if he gets it cert....as bu that is.
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.
