Series I German Embossed Movie Star cards

Sometime ago, I posted some cards from the Series 2 Garbaty set of embossed cards, depicting actors and actresses from the mid '30s. I finally managed to pick up the Series 1 set and I thought I'd share some pics; they are (clockwise from top left) Hepburn, Hayes, West & Rogers:

I don't have to tell you that the German printing from that era is the best!
If you had that kind of quality in an american baseball set from that era....well, let's just say you would have to sell the farm to afford it!
Nice cards, nice set and of course congrats on having both bookends meet!
