And sometimes you just waste the free grading...

I got a call from PCGS today in regards to my free grading for my 1965 Mint Set.
I sent in a NTC Kennedy in MS68 that I had evaluated to be MS66. Well I was right it did grade 66 only they wanted to put it in a SMS holder.
I declined.
After seeing some higher graded mid 60's Kennedies I believed it could have gone either way (it just wasn't my day).
Oh well, I will continue the search for a 1965 MS66 Kennedy.

I declined having my coin crossed, they crossed it anyway.

It was not crossed after all. I guess someone accidently put in MS66 instead of DNC.
What a relief.
