Does this card look trimmed to you?

Either that or the scan has been cut. The right edge and top right corner don't look right at all in relativity to the rest of the card.

    No.....why bother?
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

    What do you mean?

I think he means, why trim a card to make it so heinously off-center? Better to have touched corners and good centering. Anyway, that's what I would mean by "why bother."

While I agree with "why bother," I disagree that it's untrimmed. Add left to right, top to bottom, and I don't think there's enough border.

    What JR said.

Also meant.....why does some fool bother to trim that card versus a more vintage Aaron issue if he is going to rip someone off.

Perhaps because he bought the card cheap and he thinks its a good trim job.

OK joe -- don't get your shorts knotted up. I think you miss the point. It's a small beans card to some or most. Regards.

  • Looks trimmed to me. The bottom has a clear slanted/diamond cut while the top does not have a cut parallel to the bottom.

That's a 1970 Topps Hank Aaron. It is possible the card was miscut. I have several of these cards from my childhood and 1970 was notorious for off-center and miscuts.

It's not trimmed, it just has 60/10 cxentereing left to right.

  • CDsNuts why did you change your mind?

That was a joke. A cards' centering deals with percentages that have to add up to 100. A card with 60/10 centering is missing 30% of a border.
