Why is the 2001-S PCGS PR69DC Sac dollar so expensive?

According to my Jan 2005 PCGS pop report, there have been 8235 graded in PR69DC so far. They're sellling on EBAY regularly @ $75 and higher. (I need one, too)
I'm the Proud recipient of a genuine "you suck" award dated 1/24/05. I was accepted into the "Circle of Trust" on 3/9/09.

There still seems to be a big disparity in price from the 2001 and 2002. I also think the 2004 will be the lowest mintage of Sacs to date.
