Inserting coins in new Whitman or Dansco holders

When I get new Whitman or Dansco coin holders, I find it very hard to get the coins in the openings. I know they should just "Pop" in but the openings usually seem to be a bit too small. Is there some kind of trick to make the coins go into the openings a bit easier?

Thanks

Geod

Use an old G to VG example of the same coin (if you have one) and
push it in an out of the opening several times to widen it just a bit ...
then put the keeper in. Doing this avoids those nasty fingerprints
on the "good" coin. I also use a mylar flip to place over the face of
the good coin to press it into place. Hope this helps image

They where a pain when I used them back in the late 70`s especially for the Lincolns ( I still use the newer ones today ).image AuldFarttes` is about the same advice I would give. I use a sandwich baggie to put mine in and using a mylar flip sounds like a better idea then a sandwich baggie.
