How's Baltimore on Saturday?

BarryBarry Posts: 10,100 ✭✭✭
I've always gone to the show on Fridays, however, this year, the weather being what it's been lately, I'm going to take advantage of it and ski on Friday.

Sooo, I thought I'd do Balto on Saturday.
Is it more crowded on Saturday than Friday?
Is all the "good stuff" already gone?
Are most of the dealers still there on Saturday?
Any lunch plans yet?

  • I went last year to Baltimore on Saturday. Several of the dealers that I had planned
to look at were gone, but there were still enough in the morning to make it worth it.
After a forum lunch with 4 other board members, it really slowed down in the afternoon.
Make sure that you go in the morning if you wait until Saturday.

All of the important, dedicated, professional dealers are there on Saturday. All of the dedicated professional dealers are there on Sunday, as well.

Of course, I happen to be one of the important, dedicated and professional dealers and I am making the definitions.

  • I've found that most of the dealers are Saturday and that the crowds are usually lighter. You will notice more families there on Saturday due to the free drawings for YN's!

Carol and I will be there with little Randi and we're taking Jeremy to lunch. I'm positive Tootawl will be going along also, and probably others if you wish to tag along. We usually go across the street to the Wharf Rat!

Thanks guys. I've been to the Wharf Rat a number of times. I usually get Crab Cakes or Fish and Chips, both good there. Will try to hook up with you...

One advantage of going Saturday is not having to time my departure to miss the I-95 rush hour traffic through Phila on the way home.

Most of the times, I see alot of delsaers pack up as early as 1 or 2pm on Saturday. Sunday is usually a ghost town. I will be there both days. At the winter show, we had about 12 people go across the street on Saturday. I'm going to make a thread about lunch for both days real soon.
