Heritage- Packs at store - Searched?

You guys got me to buy some Heritage packs which I enjoyed. Yesterday at Target there were 3 mostly full boxes but they were all opened. I assume they have been searched so didn't buy any. Is this possible with 2005 Topps Heritage? Also, are cards more plentiful this year? Seems like they have them at several stores around here?

  • In this area they seem to be harder to find, it is easier to see that since 2001 they have increased the print run every year. Just the fact that the chromes have increased every year since 2001 tell me that the print run has slightly increased every year, but the fans of this set have also increased every year so it has not been noticed much.

I would think that the heritage packs are a bit harder to search, but I don't know.

I think your best luck at target/wal mart is going to be those 8 pack booster/blaster boxes. Target and walmart have to open the boxes, but the blaster ones are sealed.
  • I just returned from Wal Mart where I got 1 blaster box and 13 loose packs (I will post the results about after I open them)..... They had one other open box and it had an open pack. So myself being curious I looked in the pack and there was a NAP Arod card....I didn't buy the pack as the Arod was a bit dinged....
