Say you are interested in 2 lots but only have enough cash for one of them. You will be placing an absentee bid but with one stipluation: DO NOT bid on the second lot if I win the first lot. Will they do this?

I know the ANR Eliasberg gold sale has a provision, where you can do that for up to 5 coins in a group. But they do state that because the bidding goes so fast, they're not responsible if they mess up in placing the bid. Can't blame them.
Another option, if you're bidding on just two items, is to have a max spending limit of your first bid, or a little over--if you win that lot, your next bid won't be placed.
