OT who do your recommend for Picture Hosting Services

I am getting ready to enter the world of "Auctions" as a seller. In the past I have just posted a few pictures on Ebay when I wanted to sell something. Now I am preparing to go "Online" with the intent of posting a hundred or more auctions a month.

Who do you recommend as a Picture Host sight and/or Auction Management. I have been looking on the Bay of E's Services as well as Yahoo and would like to get the pros and cons from people who actually use Picture Hosting and Wed Auction Management services.

I will be selling several hundred Roman Republic and Imperial coins as well as darkside, greyside and lightside material. While I intend to post some items on PCGS's BST forum most will go up on the Bay of E, Amazon and Yahoo.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Douglas

    Not Andale!

(Actually, I have never had much trouble with them but I hate their site. And yet I have still used them since 1999, when I used the old Honesty.com and Andale gobbled Honesty up.)

Edit to be fair to Andale: I hate their site because all I want is pic hosting for those >50KB pics I can't upload here. I don't want all that other auction management garbage, and I hate being bombarded and having to slog through it every time to get to my images. But if you DO want auction management services, they might be pretty good. I dunno. I have seen a lot of folks using them. And I can't recall ever seeing any of my images hosted by them going red-X except during site maintenance. Can't say the same for some other services I have tried.

  • I've used SpareDollar for auction listing and management, but it does not handle Firefox well. I'm currently in my second trial week of InkFrog and it works great so far.
