Boston #3? You truly can't be that delusional spammy.
Oh wait, you are.
Ok then switch NY & Boston if your serious.
What's Giambi gonna hit 40 too?!
LMAO
Bob
P.S. I have Tampa a real close 3rd to your Yanks.

But, what exactly are you smoking over there? Most baseball experts have picked Boston as being the best team in baseball this season, and just as many have them winning the AL East, with the Yanks maybe second. Even if you refuse to believe that, to pick the Orioles ahead of the Sox is an amazing leap of foolishness, even for you.
Stark
Let's not forget that Johnson, Wright, and Pavano haven't gotten their first taste of the NY fans / media yet (actually, RJ did - but we won't count that). These guys have a lot of pressure on them to win, and win now, and only RJ has any long history of winning anything. This should be a fun season, but I wouldn't trade your team for my team, anyday.
the Sox Yanks battles to come!

I agree with you on one thing it will be a fun season. It will also be interesting to see how Giambi reacts to all the pressure. It was only a Spring Training game but I like what he did against Boston.
<< <i>ctsoxfan, yes I believe Boston will finish in 3rd. It's hard to repeat and Boston wouldn't be as hungry this year. It will all come down to who breaks down first, Schilling or Johnson. My bet is on the Mouth. A lot will also depends how team chemistry meshs since both team have changed quite a bit. Pedro, Lowe, Cabrera, and Mientkiewicz are all gone. And yes, the Yankees have a lot of changes too but they were the losers last year and there will be more pressure on the Sox and their new guys. >>
How many years now have the Yankees been the 'losers'? It sure hasn't helped them in recent history.
The Red Sox will again win the division, and the Yankees will be lucky to get second. They have paid the piper in recent history by not having any of their own players staying with the team, and that lack of depth is really been their downfall.
Let's see: there's Jeter, Bernie, Posada, and Mariano. How many Sox and Mariners came up through their farm systems?
The pressure will always be on the Yankees. Always.
