NewP - 1883 3CN and SLD - Thoughts

Picked up the SLD at a local show today. The Mail lady was nice enough to deliver the 3CN. Good way to start the day. Excuse the pictures, they are not very good at all.


1883 3CN


1883 Seated Dime--This has some great looking toning, real dark blue from the edge to the lettering on the observe and the edge to the reath on the reverse.

iike both coins and i bet they are really good eye appeal in person sight seen

and will be a cool set of all 1883 when it is finished

They do have some real nice luster and eye appeal to them. As far as the 1883 set goes, I'm down the two that will be the hardest (IMO) to find, Seated Lib. Quarter and Half. Although I thought that about the 3CN and finding that was just pure luck and being in the right place at the right time.
