Goo Gone

Ok I searched for the thread that was posted about a week ago regarding wax removal and Goo Gone but I think it got deleted. In fact I think all post having to do with wax removal are gone.
Anyhow, in that thread someone mentioned an odor associated with removers. I tried Goo Gone (which was recommended in the thread) and it seems to work only it leaves a very strong citrus odor. Update---After about 1 week the citrus odor is all but gone. Only the slightest hint of orange remains. I imagine if left another week it would be gone altogether. So, give it a shot but be aware that the card will smell for awhile.

I would recommend going to an art supply store and tell the guy what your needs are - they will probably have something to remove wax without the smell.
In SCD, Mr. Mint was selling a 'solvent' of some sort to 'clean' cards - as I had stated before, if detected, PSA will reject the card.

Wax on the back is next to impossible and goo gone is no good as it stains the cards - although it is great for getting sticker residue off lucites and cases
