My new bust half

Just picked this up today at the local coin shop




Looks like a nice xf45 to me but I do'nt know the Overton number for this one; mabey someone here can tell. What do you think??

Looks more 35 than 45 to me, but I like it.

35-40max. I like it, how bad are the hairline type things on the obverse?

You may be right on that 35 LordM; still learning to grade these. One thing that does'nt show well due to my camera is the color. She has real nice blue/red rim toining which I really like. He shop owner said this is the sm letters and date, can anyone verify that?

A few, cleaned at some time for sure. Not bad enough to be distracting but some do show as you rotate it.

Reverse feather detail 25 or so, obverse somewhat better. VF, not XF. Pretty coin.

Looks to be O-109 R1 VF

There are 21 1834 varieties.

Buy the Overton book and you will have lots of fun attributing Bust Halves.

It's too cleaned and white for me, but it has nice vf detail.....
