Where there is will, there is a way. The Donnellys are back at it!

But they've taken a beard in the form of one of those drop-off places that will list your stuff on eBay. There are a number of coins listed y this seller.

All does not look well!

Can you fill in some of us on the details of the Donnellys and how you know this is them? image

Looks like Snappy shut it down. Guess they don't want to be associated with such material.

They are not going to be getting as much money on their overgraded coins this time around. I looked at some of the coins they have BU written on the 2X2's and he is calling the coin EFimage He's used white out on some of the 2X2's, I think I like this guyimage He's grading is way closer than theirs!!

  • I emailed the Savannah Snappy Auctions location and gave them a little background on who they're selling for. It's definitely the Donnelly's stuff - same notes on the holders, same 1793 counterfeit that got pulled twice on eBay. I gave Snappy Auctions their two ID's that were NARU'd also and told them that it would be a shame if they lost potential customers by selling counterfeit coins. I also told them that Snappy Auctions is now being discussed on a couple of the coin forum boards. I don't think they'll be selling for them very long. image

  • The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing.

  • It seams snappyauctions4 is also a liar!

We are not coin experts. This was inherited with almost one hundred other coins and we only know what is written on the sleeve and what we have been able to find out through the internet. Please ask questions if you are unsure and we will do our best to answer. Thank you.
  • If you check their items, the only coins they're listing are the Donnelly's. They have no background in coins whatsoever. This means that they also don't understand the ramifications and amount of negative feedback heading their way. The negative feedback they have so far is inevitable if you sell as a drop-off site because that means that you're selling items you don't know about. Thus far, the rating is still acceptable. I think any changes on those holders were made by the Donnellys before they dropped them off because they don't want to cut off their last eBay avenue. After this, there will be nothing left but selling from their own website, which means they will be starting from square 1 without being indexed in the search engines and no exposure. I would so love for Pam/Jim to be stuck with all the junk they bought!

    Edited for typo's.

  • I just got a reply from Snappy Auctions in Savannah. They researched the two ID's and obviously do care about their customers. They told me that they have pulled all of the older non-US coins that could be questionable. I also want to let them know that the grades on the holders show inflated grades for the coins. We will probably be seeing someone from Snappy over here on the discussion boards.
