Junkbox cleanout time! :-D (*POOF! ALL GONE NOW!*)

LOT #1

Who wants fourteen different Indian cents in an old 1962 H.E. Harris folder? With the exception of the spotty 1881 I stuck in there, all were cleaned at one point. The reverses have retoned decently but the obverses are still an unnatural color (though they have partially retoned). Not awful looking, but it's obvious somebody took a shine to 'em some years ago (literally). This is one rare instance where my cheapo scanner actually made some coins look better than they actually are. In the picture, they almost look OK, but in person they are obviously cleaned. Still not too horrible, though. Decent jewelry coins or kiddie starter coins. Some have partial and/or full LIBERTY on the headband, as I recall.

14 Indian cents in old folder, mostly cleaned

LOT #2

Then there are twenty world coins in new 2 X 2 holders and a brand new 20-pocket binder page. These are what I would consider "better junkbox" material: a little too good to go into my ten-cent and three-for-a-dollar bins at the antique mall, but not really exciting enough to sell individually. Generally they are 75-cent coins, but a few are better than that. The Belgian piece ought to be worth around six bucks or so by catalog prices, but Krause ridiculously overvalues WWII-era German Occupation zinc coinage, in my opinion. The Italian 100-lire coin catalogs for $15.00 by itself, but again, I'd never get anything near that in the real world. Unlike the Indian cents above, the washed-out scanner pics did these coins no justice, but bad pics are better than no pics, I suppose. Some pieces like the Algerian coin look dull and/or dark in the pic but are quite lustrous in person.

Binder page (front)

Binder page (back) (picture is the flip side of the page, so the order is reversed and some coins are upside down- sorry)

LOT #3

Four Swedish copper or bronze coins from the 1800's, with problems.

Obverses:
4 Swedish oldies (fronts)

Reverses:
4 Swedish oldies (backs)

LOT #4

200-piece world coin collection, fully attributed in new 2 X 2 holders and (ten) 20-pocket binder pages
. I'll probably find a used binder to ship them in. Like Lot #2 above, these are mostly 75-cent coins or so- a little too good for my cheapo bulk bins but not quite good enough for my main display cases. There are many countries represented and while there is some duplication of types, there is no duplication of dates. Unlike Lot #2, this lot WILL contain some silver and some coins from the 1800's. It will also contain a good number of coins worth considerably more than 50-75 cents each. For example, there is almost a full page of WWII Nazi zinc 1-, 5-, and 10-reichspfennig coins with the eagle and swastika, and many of these are in EF-AU-UNC condition with catalog values up to ten bucks each or so. However, being zinc, some do have a little oxidation. (Many are OK, some are spotty). I did not have time to image this whole lot but it is a much nicer selection than you see in Lot #2 above (obviously, since it's ten times the size of Lot #2). However, this big binder lot got first pick of my extras and Lot #2 got second pick, so I think you'll be pleased with this collection. Don't expect anything fantastic, but expect a good value for the money.

PRICES: ***ALL SOLD NOW***

LOT #1:

$14.00 postpaid. That's a buck a coin but I pay shipping, you get the folder, and would think the coins ought to be worth about that much.

LOT#2:

also $14.00 postpaid, that works out to 70 cents a coin but you get the 2 X 2's, the binder page, free shipping, and a few coins worth several bucks individually. (And none should be worth less than about 75 cents each).

LOT #3:

How's $3.50 postpaid? Too much? C'mon, it'll cost me at least a buck to ship 'em!

LOT #4:

Make me an offer (cash or swap) between $100 (which would be 50 cents per coin) and $150 (which would be 75 cents per coin). You get the whole collection, free shipping, and some additional bonus freebies, too. I guarantee a good value for the money or you can send it all back and keep the freebies. True, this is mostly cheaper "junkbox" stuff but it's BETTER junkbox stuff, and remember, there are 200 pieces. Some silver, some 1800's, and lots of pieces worth more than the 50-75 cents each you'd be paying. (There shouldn't be any pieces worth less than that in there since they would've gone into my cheaper bulk bins). I might get more by listing some of this stuff individually on eBay but who has the time to mess with it?

BUY TWO OR MORE OF THE LOTS ABOVE AND I'LL KNOCK A LITTLE OFF THE PRICE AND/OR ADD SOME FREEBIES.

SHORT ON CASH BUT WANT SOME OF MY JUNK? NO PROBLEM. PM ME A SWAP OFFER OF YOUR SINGLE COIN OR SMALL LOT, US OR WORLDWIDE.
