I periodically BIN coins to send to my nephew when he least expects it image

I looked at a few dozen of those this week still in the blue packs. Are they actually worth anything?

Ehh, for $25 slabbed MS66 I didn't think it was much of a gamble. That's about how much "first strike" 2005 SAEs are bringing. Mintage for the silver 1972 is about 1/2 that for most SAEs. And I suspect more than a few of the silver Ikes were melted. Call it a sleeper. A deep, deep sleeper.
