Toning simulation programs?

Hi, All -
Do you suppose that it would be possible for a computer to be programmed to show how toning on a coin would progress over time?
For instance, if I wanted to know what my un-slabbed Washington quarter would look like in ten years if I kept it on my windowsill, knowing the average temperature, average time in the sun per day, and the constituency of the surrounding air (all estimations, of course), could the rate of toning and the toning pattern be predicted?
What do you think? How much faith would you put in such a program? Would you even want to know what your slabbed coins will look like in 20 years?
