A conversation at the Post Office I really didn't want to have

I recently switched Post Offices because my old one shut down the blue customer service door after efficency experts said they were too slow.

I had two packages in my box and two pink slips - an insured item and a registered box of coins from PCGS.

Me: Hi, I want to pick these up
Clerk: OK
(goes to get the packages and returns handing me the PCGS box to sign for)
Clerk: Are you a collector?
Me: Yes, do you know those people (referring to the PCGS box)?
Clerk: No, are they coins?
Me: Yes image

It took a couple of years at my old PO before they knew there were coin shipments to my box. The new one learned pretty quick image

PCGS should offer "plain brown wrapper" shipping. You know, like the porno companies do image. Or so I've heard....

Not that I would know anything about that. image

For some reason this reminds me of when I was at Dennys before the lakeland show with a few forum members, we all had coins out and the waitress came up and asked: "Do you collect coins?".

Clerk: PCGS? Are you a collector?
Me: Yeah! You collect pathgenic communicable gonorrheal strains, too? What a cooincidence! I sure wish they'd pack the specimens better, though. I've had two vials open up inside the packaging already this year. Maybe we can get together to compare notes?

For some reason, my PO thinks my packages contain software - so I just play along.
