I'm not sure what I'll do. But the coins are all here. And more beautiful than I remembered. I was originally going to sell a bunch. Now I don't think I will.
My carrier does that all the time, just without the note. Leaves the card and knows I'll sign it and put it back for him to pick up the next day. I have a locked mailbox so I'm cool with it. It does save a trip to the post office.

Arnold was a nice postman in his deed of kindness. At least he put it in the mailbox. I came home one day and the postman just left a package on the hood of a car sitting in the driveway. I saw it pulling in the driveway and was about to flip because I was expecting a package. Lucky me the package was something for my daughter she had ordered that didn't need a signature.
On one hand its nice to have that kind of old time personal relationship with your mailman where you know each other's name and he helps you out.
On other, I can see being bugged that he left coins where somone could take it. I for one, would really appreciate it and thank him. If it bugs you, I'd suggest politely asking him not to leave stuff like that out cause it is valuable, but I would be VERY nice about it, and I'd never go so far as tell his boss or anything.

Well, I live in a mid sized town in an area with not much crime. I wouldn't have expected it to be stolen by any means. I'm not sure what I'll say as it seems like the route I'm on has a different postal worker every month or so. I've seen well over 20 in the 6 years I've been here.
Yes, a PCGS box. 18 gorgeous toners from my 1956-1958 mint sets that netted fabulous coins.
It is nice to be spared a trip and it may be that the guy is making up for messing up on a delivery from Whitlow when he misfiled it and I had to go to the distribution center to get it. However, I think before I get any more coins now that I'll go with a PO Box.

If that is the case, and if the postmaster finds out, ol' Arnold will probably be fired!
Tom
On the other hand, if you live on the "other side of the tracks", Arnold should be taken to task.
