Seated Half Question is this a Tall date.????

  • no.....On a Tall Date, the serifs from the cross on the 4 and the foot do NOT touch

    There appears to be a die break between the serif and the foot is that normal??
  • Die breaks / cracks are very common throughout this series, and can sometimes be used to identify a late die state of a particular variety..... That isn't the case here...... You have a "Small / Medium Date"
