To all Los Angeles area Bid Board enthusiasts:
The About Rare Coins Bid Board, that closes this Saturday @ 3PM, has the largest selection of material since our Shops inception.
We have material valued from $1 to $1,000 on this week’s board. There are nearly 1000 lots!
Business is building and we are excited that we can offer such a wide array of material.
At the close of the Bid Board we have a drawing for a Proof Set and a Gold coin. If we have 20 bidders signed in at the close, we will raffle off 2 Gold coins, if we have 30 we will raffle off 3 Gold coins.
We also offer a bonus drawing from time to time where we raffle off an additional Proof or Mint Set.
Additionally, as a promotion, this Saturday between 1PM and 2PM, we are waiving the $5 enrollment fee.

I helped worked on the Bid Board today. It has some very good coins on it for tomorrows 3PM close, but next week's board is even better. For the first time since the shop opened, the Bid Board at About Rare Coins is completetely FULL. This is a mile stone since the board can accomodate about 1000 lots, and filling a BB of this size is no easy undertaking for a comparitively new operation.
As far as size goes, this Bid Board is probably ranked among the largest in the west and was designed to handle many items.
Also, one of the consigners is hanging tons of material with bargain basement reserves and there is a ton, of great, great deals, so much so that not all lots can fit and will have to flow over to the following week.
Truthfully, one would be wise to check the place out, even dealers, as there is a full range of collector oriented stock with very friendly reserves.
