    I offered a penny
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • Check his other auctions, all reprints. He even has some stupid "PSA/DNA" precertification crap pasted on the bottom of his auction description on his raw cards. It always kills me when people have some of the biggest cards in the hobby for sale in screw downs sitting on an old shirt sitting on some crappy particle board table.

You know what happens when the states lose mental health funding!!! They hit the streets, and start selling on ebay!!

a penny offer!! He's gonna stroke!!!

    $1.01

I have deep, deep pockets gentlemen and I WILL have this card!
This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.
  • I say we all e-mail him just a myriad of questions about the card and drive him nuts.

"Will you take a 3rd party out of state temporary check"

" Do you take Pokemon cards in trade"

    "How about Yu-Gi-Oh?"

    " Can I make 15,000 $1 payments?"
"Why is it that Superman could stop a bullet with his chest, yet he ducked when somebody threw a chair at him?"

All of his cards are fake -- including the graded cards in the off brand holders.

And while I do find it very entertaining to watch you guys harass him, I think he should just be reported to eBay instead. The only reason I feel that way is because I found this through a google search:

He's definitely scum, but his mom died 2 weeks ago. With that said, I don't think it's right to continue harassing him. I would suggest just reporting him to eBay instead.

  • The only thing that amazes me is that PRO Grading actually handed out an 8. Usually reprints of this quality generally garner a Gem Mint 10 on thier grading scale......

This narrows it down to...umm...50 states.

Really it's a sad story... his mom dies young, he probably was left with debt, you can guess they probably don't have much money considering they are living in an apartment, so the guy turns to scamming to try to raise some dough. Looking at his feedback, it looks like the scamming thing is probably relatively new, or he would have been long gone long ago, and there would be far more negs. eBay will put a stop to it, but realisically, if someone needs to raise a couple thousand dollars quickly, they could easily do it on eBay if they are smart enough about it. This guy just didn't take the smart approach to scamming and fly under the radar.

Bummer the guy's mom died at a relatively early age, but that fact doesn't make him any less worthy of our scorn and derision.
