2004 Peace nickel rolls mint wrapped

Going up...some have sold for as high as 95.00...that is something...

Comments

  • Wow!! Is it the mint wrapping or the quality of the coins juicing the price?

Perhaps Clackamas has some perspective here.

Well - I'll be the first one to say right here and right now - that if anyone is willing to give me - not $95, but $75 for all 50 or my rolls, I'll gladly sell them image

The p in the peace medal nickel in PCGS MS 67 sells for around 250 on ebay. This is the last one I need in the 2004 new nickel series. Holding off. Hopefully the price will go down.

Would that be $75 for all 50 rolls or $75 for a P and D set? image

    Just kidding..............you knew that right??
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

I purchased a whole bunch of these and they were garbage as far as quality. I did not make a single MS67 from the rolls I purchased. However I have found you can get great rolls in batches. At 95$ it is amazing.

Ah - such wise guys image
  • I will keep mine in the wrapper...and sell them on down the line sometime...Hey in 50 years when I am 100 years old...hey that wrapper could be worth a lot!
  • I've seen a few sets go for upwards of $80....they may go higher, but I'm gonna sell mine now I think
  • Mine are the error rolls too...I wonder if that will make a difference?

Seems to me they are averaging closer to $50... I think the cited $95 example was just a random result, and should be thrown out of the equation, unless there are significantly more examples of sales for $95...

  • One now for $91 and several with two and three days that are already over $50...we'll see in a few days.
  • I've seen one set go for over $90 and another currently at $67...looks like these might be climbing again...
