Questions about an AU58 1917 Type 1 SLQ US Type Set addition.

Yesterday I upgraded my U.S. type Set by picking up a 1917 Type I Standling Liberty Quarter. The dealer I picked it up from grades it at AU58+ (it sure looks better than the VF coin it replaces). He said that the knee has some rub light rub on it that would prevent it from being given as MS grade. It now resides in my Dansco US Type Set album next to a 1924-S MS SLQ.
I am comparing the 1917 to the 1924-S. Both have great eye appeal. The 1924-S has brighter luster (silvery) compared to the 1917 (muted with slight golden toning). The strike on the 1917 seems more crisp than the strike on the 1924-S. Liberty's head on the 1924-S is mushy, while on the 1917 it is not. In my view the 1917 is a "Full Head" coin.
Does the "Full Head" designation apply to non MS SLQ quarters (i.e. a slider AU58 that looks better than a techical MS60, 61, 62 or 63)?
Does anyone have pictures of an AU58 or an MS (any grade) 1917 Type 1 SLQ? If so, would you please post them so I can compare them with my knew acquisition?
Finally, for those members with experience with SLQ's, would you give me your thoughts and opinions on 1917 Type one coins (strike, luster, FH designation, eye appeal, etc.)?
Thanks in advance. Sanction II.

The only pic I've got of mine is terrible so I won't bother posting, but it is a great coin. It was the first I ever submitted. I sent it in hoping for 65! It was going to be either that or 58, as it has great luster, a hammered strike, awesome eye appeal, and basically no marks at all. Oh well. I didn't pay big for it.

PCGS will award the FH designation to examples graded AU50 and higher.

The 1917 T-1 issue is almost always found with a full head. And, due to the fact that it was widely saved as a first-year-of-production date, it is by a large margin, the most readily available of all SLQ dates in mint state FH grades.
