Is it worth submission prices to put together a horrible set?

I love buffalos and am slowly putting together a basic set as high rated as I can afford. Out of fun I have considered trying to put together a set that is as low as it could possibly get. the biggest problem with this is finding bad buffalos that still have their dates. Would it really be worth my money to attempt to put together a bad registry set for fun? I assume that's up to the individual himself? Anyone here putting together a "worst" registry set?

It's totally up to you and how much fun you'd have. For me it hasn't been worth the submission prices to get my ms67 and ms68 Lincoln Cents graded. It would be fun to do so and put them in the registry, but it would be MORE FUN to buy more coins with that money.

This is true. I'd probably cringe sending $300 for bad submissions when I could purchase a nice MS buffalo with that money.
